We’ve met with Tammy a few times and already we have awesome tools we’ve been able to implement and have already started to see clear results. Our first goals were to eliminate whining, “potty” words, and increase listening and better responses. We have phrases and action plans for each of these and have seen marked results in all areas with our 3.5 yo and we find him wanting to tell our 20 month old “how we do things in our family.”
Tammy has a wealth of knowledge and experience that she’s able to call on as she considers options that work in your family dynamic and that align with your goals. We so appreciate her help and would highly recommend her!
The video sessions I had with Tammy were like a breath of fresh air. She is so encouraging and has great insight. I have been wanting to do more spiritually with my kids and Tammy’s insights on not watering down the gospel and letting my kids see more of my relationship with God have been thought provoking.
She reminded to think about my big picture long term goals form kids and family, and evaluate if our daily interactions line up with these goals. Calls with her have kept me accountable for being more intentional as a parent.
Tammy encouraged my wife and I as we parented our two young children. The biggest insights we gained through her counsel were the ideas of intentional parenting and consistency. We realized that because of our lack of consistency and intentionality, we were sometimes sending mixed messages to our kids. She also helped us learn not to sweat the small things so much, like eating habits, sleeping patterns and more. She taught us to focus on the heart and the character more than the small stuff. She was also able to observe us at home and helped us realize that we were unintentionally disciplining our 3 year old vastly different than our 4 year old in ways which led to sibling rivalry. I highly recommend Tammy as a resource to any family.
Just wanted to give a shout out to Tammy, the heart and whiz behind Mom of Many, whose recent advice for us regarding toddler sleep issues has given a big boost of practicality and confidence in walking alongside our spirited firstborn. Tammy's suggestions are immediately applicable, straightforward and empowering. My favorite dynamic of our recent consult was the language she gave us for talking with our little one in an age appropriate way while encouraging him towards obedience and an appropriate level of independence/ownership over his behavior choices. Tammy has consistently checked-in with us for updates and encouragement since our consult, and I know we'll cycle back to her suggestions again and again as our kids continue to grow. Would highly recommend Tammy, aka, Mom of Many for timely help with "stuck" areas like sleep!
